Manual lubrication： This is the most original method, in the case of insufficient lubrication of bearings, using a Refueller to supply oil. But this method is difficult to maintain a certain amount of oil. Because of negligence, it is dangerous to forget to refuel. Usually it is only used in light load, low speed or intermittent movement. When it is best to operate, dust cover or ball valve should be installed on the refueling hole, and blanket, cotton, wool and other filter devices should be used.
Drop point lubrication：Usually used for light and medium-load bearings with circumferential velocity less than 4-5m/s. Lubricating oil is supplied roughly quantitatively from the vessel via holes, needles, valves, etc. The most classic is the oil drop cup. The amount of oil drop varies significantly with the lubricating oil viscosity, bearing clearance and the position of the oil supply hole.
Oil ring lubrication: The oil pool can be brought into the bearing by a ring which can be hung on the axle and rotated (only for the lubrication method of horizontal axle). It is suitable for medium and high speed bearings whose diameter is greater than 50mm. The oil ring is preferably seamless. When the width-diameter ratio of the bearing is less than 2, only one oil ring can be used, otherwise two oil rings are needed.
Oil pad lubrication: Using the capillary function of oil pad, the lubricant in oil pool is coated on the surface of shaft diameter. This method can keep the friction surface clean, but dust can also block the capillary hole and cause insufficient oil supply. The oil supply of oil cushion lubrication is usually only 1/20 of that of oil lubrication.
