Fire booster pump


The centrifugal pump is suitable for the pressure booster pump, and it should meet the following requirements:            

  1. Single-suction single-stage centrifugal pump or single-suction multi-stage centrifugal pump should be adopted.           

  2. The material of main parts such as pump shell and impeller should be stainless steel.           


The design flow rate of the pressure regulator pump shall meet the following requirements:            

  1. The designed flow rate of the pressure stabilizing pump should not be less than the normal leakage rate of the fire water supply system network and the automatic starting flow rate of the system.           

  2. The normal leakage of the fire water supply system network should be determined according to the material of the pipeline and the form of the interface. When there is no leakage data of the pipeline network, the design flow of the pressure stabilizing pump should be calculated according to 1%-3% of the design flow of the fire water supply system, and should not be less than 1L/s.           

  3. The automatic starting flow rate of alarm valve pressure switch used in fire water supply system should be determined according to the product.           

The design pressure of the pressure regulator pump shall meet the following requirements:            

  1. The design pressure of the pressure stabilizing pump should meet the requirements of automatic start-up of the system and water filling of the pipeline network.           

  2. The design pressure of pressure stabilization pump should keep the pressure at the setting point of the automatic starting pressure of the system larger than that at the setting point of the automatic starting pressure of the system in the quasi-working state, and the added value should be 0.07 MPa to 0.10 MPa.           

  3. The design pressure of the pressure stabilizing pump should keep the hydrostatic pressure of the water extinguishing facility at the most disadvantageous point of the system in quasi-working state greater than 0.15MPa.           

Temporary high-pressure fire water supply system with pressure stabilizing pump should be equipped with technical measures to prevent frequent start-up and shutdown of pressure stabilizing pump. When using pressure water tank, its regulating volume should be determined according to the calculation of starting times of pressure stabilizing pump not more than 15 times/h, but the effective storage volume should not be less than 150 L.
